hi all so as you may of seen on previous post I (luckily) have a 3 phase (UK) installation at home that should deliver 22kwh charging. All been installed with the Porsche Mobile Charging thing .... but with the max amp set to 32amp its only delivering 16amps. My electrician is lost, I am lost (given I struggle to change a light bulb).... wondered if anyone has any ideas? Its showing max output to be 32 but will only charge at 16!! Thank you in advance - Dan

Which exact charger do you have? Did you spec the 22kW internal charger and the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect?

f**k .... ok can I retro fit that do you know? thank you for you help
Retro fit by year end. For home use it is not really essential as you are already ahead of us poor single phasers and limited to 7.4kW and get an envious 11kW. So overnight charging will be a dream and I would suggest consider not paying for a retro fit as it will be ££££ (if that matters) for not a lot of return.

If your public infrastructure for DC charging is limited and 22kW is plentiful then you could / should make a case for it.

appreciate the help gents and yes agree my 11kwh is fine. just wanted the option given my house has a 3phase delivery. Im quickly amending the Taycan Cross spec to ensure we have that included so I can make sure the car is ready to go at 3am in the morning given new addition on the way :) thanks again !!

Am in the same boat. Just spoke to Porsche about exactly this retrofit. No updated timeframe yet. Hopefully by the end of the year, is the official line…..but they apparently don’t get much of a heads up themselves.

There was a Porsche press release a while back stating this so EOY is a safe bet.
