anyone notice that when dabbing brakes within a few seconds that the position of the biting point moves slightly down the travel of the pedal? have regular brakes. Brakes always work fine but there is a split second where I get a sensation of brake failure.

That's how they are designed to work in Porsches at any rate.

Yes I get a similar sensation when I first set off. Once regen is active after a few min the brake pedal returns to normal.

There is another thread about it here somewhere. I notice it at a particular point when entering my neighborhood. Slowing down and touching the brake and it is sufficient and then the pedal just sinks further to the floor. Cannot say I have noticed it any other time, but there is something about that soft slowing and then the pedal sinks and you have to push your foot further down.

The first stop after ~6hrs of idle time (if I remember right) uses no regen, to clean/bed the brakes.

I'm always a bit extra cautious for that first stop because it feels so different - the regen really helps a LOT with braking.

Mine occurs on my way home from work. I have a very short commute, but have hit the brakes a few times before the place it happens often (but not always). I feel like I am not going that fast (35mph road) and I am pressing the brake, but not that hard and then it sinks.

I will watch for the first stop, but do not recall feeling it then in the past.
