It was a black one. It looks perfect from every angle but really, the back is what impressed me the most. It's a lot more sporty than the Panamera Sport Turismo for instance.

In other news, I finally saw an Ice Grey today... and I loved it! I was expecting it to be basically white, but it's actually very different. Here's a pic of the Ice Grey in the front and a white one in the back to show you the difference.

What colour would you describe Ice Grey as, looks a bit blueish on the picture.

Nice colour it’s been the one I went for, but lockdown order in Uk and only ever seen in pictures.

I had gone white and then had second thoughts as felt too white.

I saw the Ice Grey sedan side-by-side with white. If they were not next to each other I'd swear it was white. Just the smidgest of grey tint. Not worth the $3000 "special color" charge IMO. Not... err... special enough like chalk or carmine red.

It's like a mix of 40% Carrara White, 40% Dolomite Silver and 20% Chalk.

Sorry, I realize it's hard to visualize the color based on this description but that's the best I can do!

That's fascinating, because it wasn't my experience at all! I guess it's a color that changes quite a bit depending on the light and the environnement.

Closer to white than you might want. Unless you adjust the white balance on your camera photos don't really show the colour as you would see it.

Carmine red doesn't photo well either. It looks really saturated on forum photos but quit dull in real life.

No idea why it has a premium price.

The joy of lockdown in the UK, was very close to going Crayon but some pictures make it look a bit beige in certain lights.

Ultimately I had gone Carrera White and then changed with the Ice Grey, I figured the worst that could happen is it wouldn’t be worth the extra as it’s so similar to white but based on some pictures in some lights I think I will like it changes a bit.

Poster here who was keen to avoid white and liked it a lot in person, gives me some confidence.

Definitely no sign of beige to my eyes.

I've seen the same colour on VW Golfs and T-ROCs. Plus I've also seen in the showroom and on the road.

It will be fine?

My chalk Sport Turismo definitely looks beige under certain light conditions, almost off-white in direct light.

If only carmine red were that red. Bring back Guards Red!
Guards Red never went away. They've been available on the sports cars for as long as I can remember... infrequently in their 4-door offerings. Which is fine IMO. Guards is more tomato, a little orangy, very bright. Perfect red for a sports car. The Carmine is deeper, more settled and therefore more suitable for a sedan or SUV.
