I had a AC issue i. My brand new ( <200miles) Taycan. They filled in new coolant with a dye to identify leaks. After driving for a few more miles- The dealer service identified the leak as coming. from an ac line. This ac line apparently runs under the high voltage system. It’s going to be an bit of a long repair. they said expect the repair to take about 1 1/2 weeks.
Obviously I am quite disappointed about all this with my first Porsche. But more than this taking out a lot of parts to get to replace an AC line makes me worry that the integrity of this car is affected. Am I imagining or is this something that is quite regular in terms of fixing something like this.

Any helpful ideas or suggestions most welcome from the community of Taycan owners.

Sounds like they caught the issue quickly, and hopefully gave you a nice loaner.

All cars have issues (I had the HV heater failure), and service isn't something you can totally avoid. I think it is too early to worry about the integrity of your car overall. If something else significant fails within 1-2 months after your get your car back then that's another issue.

Wanted to share an update. They fixed the leak in the AC line and then after 3+ weeks gave my car back. Now again it has leaked all the Freon. The car AC stopped working. I am frustrated that this has been in the shop for this problem for so long. Anybody share their experiences with AC issues or in general Taycan servicing issues? I had so much hope with this car which slowly turning into a bit of disappointment.
