Ambient ligth Dynamic option dont appear

Hi, can somebody help me? I have a Taycan 2021 4S and don't see the option to switch ligths according the music ligth playing in pcm, I Mean don't appear the option Dynamic, someone has an idea how to fix this or any idea why is happening this?

Your car had no, or spotty, connection to Porsche. Their system works like this:

Car starts up, basic functions only.
Connect to Porsche and retrieve main accounts purchased "micro transactions".
Ok.
Send details to car.
Car starts loading functionality.

They cache nothing or at least empty the cache once the car has sat for long enough, leading to a slow-loading system. Especially annoying if connection is wobbly. It seems like sometimes it fails to set some functionality correctly and it leads to sporadic dynamic setting, smart-lift, weather etc. It'll fix itself at some point.

You can do a steam reboot by holding two fingers on the clock on the main screen. Once engineering-mode loads hit reboot (hit the plus sign), and then wait. Once the system has booted up let it sit there for a hot minute.

Hi, thanks for your reply., please note I don't have porsche connect in my country, this can affect the Dynamic ligth?? Anyway, I will reboot today, but since the beginning I bought my car I never see this option.

I presume you want to know why dynamic ambient lighting isn’t working?

If so, then:

1. Go to Ambient Lighting setting
2. Choose Colour
3. Slide / select Dynamic (bottom option)

Dynamic mode works consistently with radio stations. It sometimes works with Spotify through CarPlay. I haven’t used Apple Music, can’t say if it works.

Thanks for reply all you guys! But my problem it's that the option don’t appear on the ambient light menu . Check video please . I reboot into normal mode just now and it’s same .

If Porsche online services in the car are unavailable, then no, it will not work. It only works when these are available as it uses the built-in data connection to grab the album cover to use the predominant color and adjust the ambient light accordingly. If I remember correctly, it only works with the Apple Music online service in the PCM, not thru Apple Car Play.
