Hi, this question is specific to the Andersen charger in the UK. I have one fitted with a CT clamp on my incoming power supply. Initially the clamp was fitted the wrong way round but is now the correct way round. When I look in the energy tab of the Konnect app, it shows -0.5kW usage. It goes positive when I use a high current, but not as much as I expect (when compared to my smart meter).
What does yours do? Is it accurate? What make/model is the CT clamp? Mine was installed by an approved installer who said these readings are as good as a CT clamp will give. The whole point is that they scale back the charger if the current to the house is approaching the fuse limit, but they are so inaccurate as to not be worth the bother.
My CT clamp is made by Hobut. Does anyone know if this is what Andersen supply? Their documentation says to use only the one supplied by them.
If others have a better experience with a different clamp then I might change mine to get it working properly.
Thanks in advance
