Not sure if someone has posted this workaround but it does work in my case. I bought an 'Ottocast PlaytoVideo Ultra) off Amazon and plugged it into my center console USB port. After start up you are using the Apple Carplay mode in the Taycan menu but can add a shortcut to Android Auto.

With this setup your phone connects wirelessly to the Ottocast box in your console, not directly to the Taycan (I turned off the wifi and bluetooth in Taycan settings).

No drops at all in the same areas I was consistently getting drops back into radio/etc.

Pros, it lets you also connect to your phones hotspot for internet and stream youtube, etc while driving (or youtube music videos), plus a few other features.

Con, it can take up to 30 seconds to start up and connect/display on taycan screen as active once getting into the car. It doesnt affect using the car in any way while its booting up but its a 30 second delay. Perhaps some other version of this type of box boots faster, I'm going to do more research on the different brand models that do this same function to see.

Other than that, it completely solved the disconnect issue and works great in Android Auto on the Taycan screen. Hope this helps someone!
