Update for the interested:

"It shows that your Taycan has been released for transport which means it's ready to be loaded onto a truck and brought to the store. Unfortunately we don't know where in line for transport it is. Porsche does not share that information so until we receive an exit notification we won't know on which day it will arrive. As soon as we find out we will reach out to set up a delivery appt with you.

Thank you"

Same here...... This is all I got when I asked him for an update yesterday.

There is another screen shot where it lists each action, anticipated completion and actual completion. They sent you the shipping screen, you need the progress screen.

Yea but it seems like my SA do not like to give me updates that much. Prob annoyed giving updates to everyone with all the roadblock porsche is going through with the delays. He just responded saying, "Still at port, Port handling. Like I said, next week most probably. Sorry".

I think we are all in the same boat (pun intended). My SA is very communicative, but at this point there is no information he can get on when the cars will be loaded up and sent to the dealers. We are at the mercy of the Port and Truckers and how they allocate which cars go when. Very frustrating for sure.

I was thinking how "patient" we were knowing the vessel was enroute, but now its back into the unknown *singing* at the port. PDI, truck, whatever.

Just telling myself, whats a few more days? Anyway, good luck to you all. I've done a few obsessive things over the course of the last day just doing a "search" on the porsche.com website for "new" 2023 inventory (Taycan, Macan, etc) and which dealerships are adding them to inventory.

So far... Rusnak Westlake & Pasadena have a ton of new vehicles "in coming" or newly on the lot. There are a handful of other So Cal dealerships (Southbay, McKenna, San Diego, Ontario, etc) that are getting 2023 Taycans in which is a sign of production in the last few months. That would be a good sign of who's getting deliveries first from the port.

Whats not a good sign is, whats seen on porsche.com new car inventory, does not reflect that at my dealership (Porsche Irvine). ... SO.. Back to the unknown. :like:

Until then, I'll go sweep the open garage space some more.

I have been in contact with a bunch of dealers in CA all the way to Nor Cal. They either don't respond to your messages or if they do they all want a large ADM. I feel lucky I found my current deal through Porche of Ontario with a small AMD and a car I can delivery of this year (I need to spend some $$$ before year's end).

Exactly. As long as it is signed sealed by 12/31/2022 then I won't complain. 179+bonus is going to be well worth it.

My car is coming to Rusnak Westlake, they have listed the same cars in inventory or "incoming" for a while now, and if you follow the other models, they are dwindling in inventory and not being replaced. Sounds like the port needs a laxative to get the flow moving. In the meantime Suncoast boxes arrive, valve caps, rear mat, etc. just making me more antsy to get the car. Enjoy the weekend all!!

Spoke to SA. Nothing today. Tomorrow don't know.
Service Department not open on Sunday.
So next Monday or Tuesday hopefully.
