Apple music built in?

Hi all
I'm awaiting my delivery in April and have been looking at some of the taycan information on the "good to know" app.
On one of the videos it shows that the taycan has "Apple Music built in". Does this mean I can log in to apple music through the car and play music without my phone needing to be in the car?

Yes; and it uses the data service of the car and not the phones cellular plan.

Yes. I don't even have an iPhone and I've been using Apple music directly on the PCM. Only for the free trial period tho

Ah, I thought you meant there was a trial period for Apple music to play through the pcm. I pay monthly for Apple music so a trial period won't affect me.
I'm not a detailer, no! Though that would be a cool job! ?

Yeah, you can select (or switch) between "built-in" and via iPhone.
But.
Sometimes (recently even more often) It's quite annoying when connection is lost, then features on menus are different, etc.
Bottom-line: among all software glitches in this car, it looks that CarPlay has its own consciousness ...
Of course, it's not a 1st class world problem when music stops... then came back (sometimes even something completely different), etc...

I guess the "built in" sound quality will be better than via Car-Play

Does anyone else have an issue where only the "Recently played" playlists show up on built-in Apple Music? I can't figure out how to get the rest of my playlists to show up. They are all there when I use wireless CarPlay, though.
