I charge at home on a ChargePoint 50a circuit. CP sets the charger to 80% of capacity so, in theory, juice is flowing at 40a.

How many miles/min should I expect to see? I have a 4S with Perf Battery, etc.

I am typically charging from about 50% SoC up to 85% SoC.

I charge at night to take advantage of my utility company's ToD rates.

It had only been charging at 0.1 mi/min.....but discovered that ChargePoint had set itself to 20/16a......they changed that back up to 50/40 with a simple phone call to cust serv.....now I am seeing 0.4 mi/min.

Does this sound right?

THANKS ALL

Yes, .4 is exactly what you should see.

I think you can switch the charge rate or alternatively view it as kW rather than miles/minute. You could see approximately 9.6 kW with your current settings.

We have the PMC that we did initially have set at 100% until we saw the cable recall threads on the forum. After reading about the recall, we changed to 50%. Much more comfortable with the temps of cables at all junctions to avoid high heat and fire risk even though we do have newer home and high quality 240V socket installed. Better safe than sorry?

Luckily OP is not using a Porsche EVSE to charge.
