And Taycan has had extensive OTA on its roadmap since 2019.

Post Elon automotive roadmaps are about as trustworthy as politician's promises during an election cycle. You can talk to people who bought fully self driving capable cars in 2016 from Tesla, see how that great roadmap item worked out.

What were these Engineers smoking back then and where are they now!??
For Porsche OTA, Tesla made it look easy, so they thought it was going to be a cakewalk. For Tesla FSD, nobody knows exactly what Elon was smoking, but the engineers knew it wasn't going to happen. Where are they today, probably a combination of still working on it, retired, died (there was a pandemic too), fired, quit, or quiet quitting.

I prefer to decide for myself pretty well everything about using my car.
I did not option comfort access so I lock and unlock my car with the buttons on a bulky "key".
The only thing I would prefer would be a conventional key and a receptacle in the door to lock and unlock the car.
The central locking on my 1991 Mercedes 500E works this way and I still prefer it to anything which has been released since.

Our Prius unlocks when you touch a doorhandle when the key is nearby and locks touching an indent also on the doorhandle. It works fine but is not necessary and I much prefer it to the idea of anything that unlocks as one approaches and locks when you walk away.
