It takes a firm press after you've already stopped ... Almost to the floor.
So this actually worked!
I was pushing down on the brake but in this car you have to push the brake like into the frunk….?
In my wife’s BMW it doesn’t take much pressure at all to activate. Guess I was just used to that…??‍♂

you don't need to press firm or hard, but it has to be a more sudden press. For example, a very slow press all the way down won't trigger the hold.
I do a slow press and it works just fine. Just need to be firm.

If this has been said already, my apologies. If I use the brake to stop (which, of course I do.. ) my experience is that I have to fully let up off the brake for a split second, then reapply the brake it to activate the hold feature. I had it on a Mercedes and now the Taycan. The Taycan does take a little more pressure to activate, but not unreasonably so.
