Broken artificial engine noise

The exterior sound generator (not sports sound) seems to have failed on our Taycan. No more spaceship noises, it now moves silently at low speeds. Obviously we need to get it fixed as the car is now a danger to pedestrians.

I did pull trouble codes and it seems the control unit may have failed. The error from November 22 corresponds to the sound failing entirely. Odd that the code is marked as inactive since it's obviously currently in a failed state. Apart from the initial warning that came up on the dashboard the car seems to think everything is fine.

Has anyone had experience repairing or replacing this?
