Buyback titles?

Hi,

Anyone have any experience with this? I've literally never heard of a buyback title... Besides prospected "resale value", what else is there to be aware of? I mean, if you get one that had the heater issue, what's the big deal? It just tool them too long to fix and the owner got (rightfully) pissed and made them buy it back....

If it could be bought at the right price, I wouldn’t have an issue buying one. I’d go in knowing it would be more difficult to sell, but we generally keep our cars for ten years or longer, so it would be less of an issue than for someone who changes cars every couple years.
