There's an awful lot of "information" on the Porsche Minneapolis site. Claims "arriving late 2026" as a 2027 model. I see the other linked site has been taken down already. I've copied the info from the MSP Porsche site, for future comparison against reality, or to archive it if it disappears.

This is one of a handful of minor annoyances I have with our Taycan. My 2016 Chevy automatically locks/unlocks when the fob leaves/arrives, yet our seven years newer Porsche can't do this basic thing. Our Audi e-tron (SUV) also can't perform this basic function. And yes...retracting the...

The sound clip included at that link sounds pretty good, IMO, though I've come to mostly prefer near-silence when driving.
