CAR PLAY AND KEYS????

looked at all settings several times and cannot find two items of convenience.

1. On my two other P cars, 2022 and 2023 911's apple car play opens up on PCM display at start up. On 2023 Taycan PCM display opens to main display with all icons. Can the Taycan be set to open to car play?
2. Can Tacan be set to recognize user by the key and open appropriate account ?

2. Yes, you don’t really configure this. Use one key fob with one profile and the other with a different profile. The car should automatically remember which profile was active the last time that key fob was used. You can also lock the car with a particular key fob to store setting in the fob.

On my car it takes a few seconds after startup for the vehicle to even recognize a phone is connected to it. Then the Apple Car Play icon appears and you can tap it to initiate it.

@ohniner regarding question 1 please see video opening vehicle today and CarPlay loading. Is this what you were looking for?
I have not selected any particular settings in the PCM to execute it opening directly to Carply upon start up.
Car was shut off while CarPlay was playing.
Today it only took 14 seconds to load usually takes around 25-30 seconds.

First of all, let me commend you on your music choice. I am a huge Jarabe de Palo fan, and La Flaca of course is a classic album. I still cannot believe that Donés is gone . . .

Second, I have found that the speed with which an iPhone connects depends upon a few different variables, including, oddly enough, whether the Taycan has access to a good signal upon startup.

My phone usually connects at the same speed as yours. When it does not, I check whether my phone is connected to the Taycan Wi-Fi (it usually is) and the bluetooth (which, if the phone does not connect immediately, bluetooth often is not connected). If bluetooth is not connected, I connect it and then go back to select my phone on the PCM.

If the phone does not nearly immediately connect at that point, I just shut off my phone and turn it back on, at which point it nearly always connects very rapidly (like in your video).
