Hi. I'm about 18 months and 35k miles in to a 4 year company lease with my 4SCT. I'm heading in for some service work and have just been contacted by my local dealer to see if I would be interested in changing. I hadn't thought about that at all as I'm pretty happy, but it has of course got me looking :). Has anyone else done this and given the state of the market, any advice as to whether they can be pushed super hard on a new build to order J1.2, or look out to the available pool of approved cars?

What are they offering you? Here in the US, I've been approached by various dealers over the years about upgrading to a newer car, but upon further conversation, it always ended up being a poor deal (low trade-in value, barely any discount on new). I think they simply look at someone they think can afford a new car, who's had current car for a couple of years, so why not try.

I would start with how much will it cost you to get out of the lease early. Then, if the lease exit is acceptable, negotiate a price of a new car.

Currently on a 4 year lease, £1400 per month for 15k miles per year (I’ll be well over!). car value was £112k. I’ve had a look at what is around and available and nothing takes my fancy immediately. I’m not expecting great things from them, but as I don’t have an itch to change, I won’t be fussed. We are collecting a new Macan 4 at the weekend too, so there’ll be enough new-ish electric Porsches in the family for a while!

It’s a company lease, so virtually zero deposit and ultimately costs me about £1k a year in the tax

You'll get a deal on a stock J1.2 and the main window for that was December - up to £30K off list.
