Taycan Track time …

Hi guys , I’m going to take both my 911 and my Taycan to the track for DE - below charger is what they have at Limerock , approx what should I expect back to the battery in about an hour ? From my limited research does 60-70 miles per hour sound about right ??

Data sheet:
Name-Porsche Mobile Charger
Max. Power -19.2kW (240VAC @ 80A)
Current - 80A single phase
Voltage - 208/240VAC 60Hz single phase
Vehicle Plug Type - 1

probably closer to 50 mi indicated. Better to think of it adding about ~20% of your usable battery capacity. But --- you have to have a 19.2kW ac charger option for your Taycan (I don't think it's standard on any of the trims, but maybe for the turbo S ?). I have a GTS with that onboard charger and it will generally pull 18-19kW.

if you don't have the 19.2kW on board charger, then it will charge you at 11.2kW, so a little better than half the rate.

I think you'll have other options this summer once they open up the Tesla network, there's superchargers 9-10 miles away in Canaan and that will be 50kW minimum (or faster if you've got the 150kW onboard dc charger)

I ticked the box when for the 19.2kw charger option - 50 miles back an hour is plenty as there’s tons of downtime with these DE , thank you !

with 19.2 you should be ok if you are doing every other run group. (ie rotate taycan/911) or do you plan on 2 run groups so running every hour or so? if so that might not be enough, depending on your pace and track.
