Child Safety Lock Error on Dash

I get a Child Safety Lock error at startup every time now. The rear safety lock is engaged on the passenger rear side only such that you can't open that one door from inside. The button on the driver's door is unresponsive (the light doesn't engage upon pressing). Restarting the car doesn't do anything. I've reached out to my SA but haven't heard back. Anyone had this issue and found a resolution? Thanks

Hi Mission C,

I picked up my Taycan 2 days ago.....I have same Child Lock error code for passenger rear door.....could you tell me how it was resolved? I really don't want to book a service appointment for this if avoidable.

I had the same issue recently. The child safety stayed in error mode and would not let passengers have any control while in the backseat. I fixed it by resetting the 12Volt rail. Under the frunk I removed the plastic behind the storage compartment and loosened the 12mm nut holding on the negative cable to the 12Volt battery. This reset the 12 volt system and everything is fine so far.
