Are UK users having connectivity issues today with the server via Porsche App, mine showing as last connect 2 days ago, when logged into account on PC, showing a recall shown below.

Re-programming central computer (PCM) control unit

Date of recall report: 07/11/2023

This is my second recall in the last few weeks, first was the battery one, which I had done but came back all clear.

Worked yesterday. No current information from the app or website. I haven’t looked to see if the car has lost its connection. Again

Could not connect this morning in the US and was getting a message to try again later. Just checked and it is working normally again now.

Yep, on route to Porsche to have winter alloy swap, PCM bombed mid drive. Had to pull in, turn car off and on before PCM fired back up. Service reception said there was a recall and a very recent software update to do. I didn't have time so will attend to that another time. More updates than an iphone at the mo !!

Just followed the website link and requested an appointment. Tonbridge phoned me straight back, appears they need the car for 2 days for the update.

Yes, I lost connectivity yesterday via the app so I logged in on my PC and saw the recall then.
Connection via the app was restored a little later in the day. No notifications on the app about a recall.
I called my OPC this morning to book it in but the line was busy so left a message but haven’t heard back from them. I hope the car doesn't have to be in for two days! Had the battery checked as per recall on the day I got the car!

What happens when the PCM bombs? Does it have immediate safety implications or is it simply an inconvenience?

Apart from not been able to see any instrumentation, listen to music etc, not sure if it affects the PSAM gyros and other safety features, I wouldn’t like to test it hence pull over and restart. 2nd time this has happened in 20k miles so not stressing.
