Maybe a Porsche Xmas feature...
Yesterday, I drove for an hour in the evening and noticed that the central display was several times (a lot) brighter than the other displays (instrument cluster, passenger). From the photo (iPhone 12) you can see it blew the highlights in the central one.
- normal mode, SoC at departure 93%
- all displays were at +5 brightness
- even if i put the central display at -5 and the others at +5, this one remained much brighter
- i tried disconnecting carplay and using the PCM UI but the brightness remained very high
- it's not due to the viewing angle or the iPhone camera AL lock
I parked for 30 minutes and turned the car off. When I returned, without having changed anything (all displays at +5), the brightness of the central display was more or less in line with the others.
Could someone explain this? Thanks
