Hi Guys,

I let my Taycan get a little dirty to the point that it warned me that brake assist was disabled.

The Cruise control stopped working, so that made me get to the local car wash and the guys did a great job.

For some reason, Cruise Control still wont work, no warning, just when you push the stick forward to engage I get nothing not anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

Push the button on the edge of the same stalk and ensure you have the correct driver assistance system option selected - likely cruise control is not selected.

Proceed as normal!

Bang on!

Just in time for my trip to Newcastle, thanks, no idea how I had turned it off! It actually seems to be different now, it shows the cruise control icon faded out, where as before it was never there. I just pushed it forward and it would appear. Software update maybe caused it?

No problem.

The greyed out icon simply means its operationally ready (passive mode) but not engaged - push down on the stalk will set the speed and the icon will go green and call out the set speed. Greyed with the speed displayed means a temporary interruption and now passive (e.g. you've braked), push the stalk up to resume and you're back to green.

No software updates - like this from day 1 - OTA updates are typically maps, calendar etc - never anything that controls the car. FOD updates are possible but only on demand and when stationary - these are for activating new functions you have purchased at the Connect Store.
