Custom drive mode selector switch

The urge to customize strikes again. I saw an ad for drive mode selector switches in custom colors on another forum and decided to grab one up for my Taycan. The original dial is plastic and pops off easily by pushing from the back with plastic trim tools. Line up the new aluminum dial and push it on until it clicks. Job done in a few minutes. The hardest part was deciding what color to go with; I settled on Shark Blue but they are offered in multiple colors.

We will see how it lasts with use, but the initial quality appears very good.

I was going to order as well, the drive mode selector and the sport chromo bezel. I want mine to be neodyme and they don't have that paint colour so I may just paint it myself.

The Carpokes one is a cover whereas this is a direct replacement. This one looks great! I think Bordeaux will look good with my stitching. I need to check if they ship to the UK.

Just get yourself a can of Bordeaux Red spray paint for $30, and then you'll have it for other uses.

You can spray your existing dial, but note that the new dial is aluminum, not plastic like the original.

Had a couple of anodised red ali ones made a few years ago, they slip over the existing plastic knob so was easy to transfer to my second Taycan
