I tried to search if there was any threads about delivery damages, but couldnt find any. On the day of delivery I couldnt find any marks or any scratches what so ever, so i thought. I sent my car for Clear ppf, the Company who was doing this job found out that my Hood had some deep cuts/chips off. Porsche told me they would fix this, no problems at all. So when I got my car back from ppf I thought I would use some more time to go over it, by doing this I found out that one of my mission e Wheels had some deep marks/scratches on it. I told Porsche this was most likely from the transportation when the car was shipped to me. of course they denied it, and told me this couldnt happen and so on. Luckily the salesman took a photo of me with the car. I zoomed on the photo and there it was the damage, the evidence I needed! needless to say they had to cover that one too. Lesson learned, always bring one or two mates With you to go over the car, you most likely will not see evertything, and it will be pita to get it covered later.

Sorry if this sounds harsh but step 1 of receiving a new car is to go over it in extreme detail before handing over a cent. I'm not sure how you could miss deep scratches but it sounds like Porsche is taking care of it.. even if the damage may or may not have occurred before you took possession.

All cars run the risk of being damaged in transport and Porsche has no control over that. Minor repairs by dealerships pre delivery are common and they often won't even tell you (this part, of course, being shady).

If you see where the damage was, you will maby understand why I didn't see it. I've never seen a car with damage at that spot before

And even porsche didn't see it when they washed the car and handed it over.
