I believe north of Birmingham is Grimsby, and South is sheernes.

I also this it’s a 14 day pattern (I think)

In confirmation of this my order at a B'ham outlet is scheduled to travel to Grimsby in Feb.

Meant to say, I so very nearly went for the Porsche Design Chrono Clock and decided to draw a line on spending at £114k (ish) for a 4S. Envious; now wishing I’d drawn a line at £115k instead. ?

Not sure whether your vehicle is faring better Gary (Browning), but as for mine, it still has a shipping block on it. There could be 10 ships inbound from Emden to the U.K. this week, but while mine still has a block it on because it’s missing the semiconductors, it won’t be going anywhere seemingly. There seems to roughly a week’s delay between when a vehicle block is removed and when the vehicle can board a vessel, assuming one is available, given the time needed to plan manifests etc. Hence, I don’t expect to see my vehicle until March at the very earliest.

What I will say is that the increased frequency of shipments does chime with the info I’ve been given that Porsche are starting to attack the backlog of around 300 cars currently queued awaiting blocks to removed / components to be fitted, destined for the U.K.

The shipping block has been moved from my car! ?

My dealer is unsure as to whether it is, or is not a coincidence that I gave Porsche GB an absolute rocket on Friday.

Will keep you all posted.

Now the worry turns to not will the car ever arrive but will it arrive with the all important Matrix PDLS+ lights? Never a dull moment on the Porsche delivery experience journey nowadays.

Our CT arrived in the Uk yesterday in Sheerness. Spoke to deal and he has assured me that our glacier matrix are on the car as we ordered before the stop happened. Also on the My porsche app its there as well. Dealer should be getting it real soon so then PDI and dashcam install then finally off for PPF. I might have to delay pickup till 1st March as we will be real close to the new plates

my cayenne is currently with Admiral as they were cheaper than Esure at £560. So will stay with them for the Taycan.

I reckon it will go up to around 700-800 fingers crossed. My mate has his RWD for 650-700. Our Cross Turismo is a CT 4. Might shop around for GTS but will likely stay with admiral if they are competitive with multicar.

I have 15 years protected NCD so I think that helps with no points as they all disappeared last year (hopefully I keep it that way!)

Cutting them some slack for the abysmal comms they get from GB and AG by all accounts, I’d have to say they are pretty good all things considered. Would I buy another Porsche from then having used a different dealer previously? The answer would have to be yes, so I guess that’s the benchmark. I just hope they offer me a GT3 allocation once the gen 2 launches in a couple of years.

Thats a good recommendation as are thinking of placing a order for a another Porsche
