Went to see car car this morning first thing I did was to check if Matrix lights were fitted and yes massive relief we got them and I think we have been very lucky as withdrawn just after or build dates and yes car looked great will post pictures when I pick it up on the 1st of March hopefully yours will also be ready for then
Excellent news!

Still waiting to here from my SP at the dealership to learn if it’s been delivered and on schedule for March 1 collection. Starting to think he must have taken an extended holiday. Maybe they’ll contact me on Feb 28.

Don't understand why you do not call them as you need to organise Insurance & Porsche connect etc some thing just does not add up ?

Porsche Connect has already been set up. It has been transferred from my previous Taycan. Insurance will also transfer once I have a reg and can happen pretty much in real time.

The ‘something just not adding up’ as you put it is simply me having lost interest in the whole Porsche buying experience. It’s become such a pain to keep constantly chasing and a valuable use of time I don’t have. Quite frankly, I really can’t be bothered any more.

I chased a couple of times before being told my date had changed. Bit disappointing way of finding out. Suspect the sales guy has to dig into systems to see what's going on, rather than getting pinged when something has changed - so nothing gets flagged until you enquire.

I have previously posted about my situation. I ordered a Taycan 4s in October 2020 through NHS Fleet Solutions salary sacrifice scheme. I was initially given a delivery estimate of June 2021. This got bumped to October 2021 and again to the latest build date of February 2022 and delivery for March. The lease company that supplies NHS Fleet Solutions have contacted me in December to confirm my configuration. I have been in contact with them but they just keep repeating the same build date of Feb and delivery in March. At this rate it will be 18 months. I think I must hold the record for the longest wait time.

Wow!! That is the longest I’ve heard and I follow numerous forums around the world!.
Something doesn’t sound right about the order, are you sure NHS Fleet Solutions actually submitted your order and paid the £5k deposit back in Oct 2020??

Nice to see the NHS continuing to spend taxpayer money sensibly while asking for ever more of it.

This purchase is probably one of their more productive ones, they could sell it on the 2nd hand market for+10% of the purchase price the day they receive the car?
That could pay the salary of a nurse for a year.
There you go, just solved the NHS funding ‘crisis’ …become a franchised Porsche dealership??

Haha very true.

Also I was joking and wish the NHS guy or girl above all the best with their Taycan.

I will continue in my tightly tax controlled self-employed world of work... to temper what they can buy next.

I have my test drive at Preston on Saturday, am I to keep an eye out for any members cars...?! Wouldn't be surprised if they are in the showroom - last one I had a good look around and sit in, I was told the owner was coming to collect the following week. Not sure I'd be too happy with that though I suppose after another clean who's to tell...

None of this now makes any sense ,what you are saying is that your car arrived at the dealers 7th February same dealers as mine and nobody has been in touch I could have had mine the week after but decided to wait until new reg 1st March
