Next week - Nice. Be sure to post pics incl collection.
I also suffer from bad back so had to spec 18 ways.
I've just received news that I'm moving from production phase 2 to phase 3.
Can anyone tell me how long it took from this update to delivery??

Bazza, I’ve been on this stage for about 2 weeks now so I can say that much. I know not very helpful but it feels like this phase will vary depending on how the wind blows. I called my local dealership to ask and he said they are producing vehicles at about 30% of capacity so they are hoping a month to 2 delayed.

Sebbo - you’re right about the timing for phase 3. I also asked my dealer and he said it’s averaging about 2 months from start of phase 3 to delivery.
Got the call today. Car arriving next week ( WC April 17) Ordered it start of July 21, so give or take 10 months. I really hope it doesn't give me a bad back same as my old 911 or there will be trouble...lol
Did your car arrive?
How have the first few days gone?
How’s your back?

Hopefully that 2 months will be fairly accurate. Mine moved to Stage 3 on 22nd Feb, and currently due to be out of factory a week today, fingers crossed!

Yes dealer did mention each dealership gets an allocation monthly and then they allocate in order to customers; naturally I am sure they favour certain existing customers or people with more add ons, but didn't think about calling each dealership to ask how many were on their waitlist as didn't realise this when ordering.

Spoke to the salesman today who has said it is due out of factory on 29th april with Expected Delivery Date of 3rd June. Let's hope this is final :)
Awesome

Ordered a RWD late May 21. Original delivery scheduled Dec 21. It has been delayed every month since. Ordered through Tusker. Beginning to wonder if it will ever turn up. On the cusp of binning it as any tax benefit is rapidly disappearing.

That is ridiculous...

I ordered my RWD direct from dealer in March 21 and it was delivered (a month late) on 8th August. So 5 month wait.

If I had got the order done by Feb '21 it was going to be delivered in May 21 (4 months) - which was actually too soon for me.

My last update had been 'delivery May 22' but today have been informed that is the new estimated build date with delivery most likely July 22 if the build date is met.

I understand the impact of Ukraine on builds but pretty disappointed that the car hadn't been allocated a build slot before March 22. I am fairly ambivalent about the car now hence why considering the order cancellation.

I have been feeling a bit the same.
Loads of people who ordered their car after I did are driving around in theirs already and I still haven’t got a build date nor have I been contacted by the dealer about the April fix date suggested last month.

If it wasn’t for the fact that there is not a current car on sale which appeals to me at all other than the Taycan I may have cancelled already.

I get where you guys are at.
I ordered 4th Sept and I’ve seen people that ordered after me already collect theirs, from the SAME dealer!
I’ve been told that regular customers or customers prepared to trade in their old Porsche soon after ordering get priority.
?

And then there is the prospect that we will have to pay more than those who have taken delivery.

it is easy to lose hope. We ordered our car 6th September and took delivery 11th April.

The waiting is totally worth it when it arrives. As you say there isn’t anything else you want anyway

my GTs I’m still waiting for lock in but I know I’m 5th in the queue and when I last spoke to the dealership they said they haven’t had any allocations for the sports saloon at that point

Had a call to say car can be collect from dealership in a couple of days then another call to say it can’t be released as it’s missing a semiconductor?! Has anyone experience of how long a delay this could be? Dealership say they have no idea and zero information from Porsche. Maybe Porsche UK could have some information.
