Difficultly connecting my drivers side seat belt when wearing winter clothes

I have difficultly connecting my drivers side seat belt when wearing winter clothes. The female connector seems a bit short. I do have a right hand issue that results in finger numbness. I tried an extender for the female connector (3") worked fine except it sent faults to the computer. Any suggestions? Does Porsche have such an extender?
