I wondered if anyone experiment this issue and if there is a simple solution. I haven’t organised myself enough yet to sort the apply play (I will get to it in time).
In the meantime when Bluetooth I g my iPhone into the car I appear to have the sound coming through and then it stops - the song is still playing but no sound, I can forward to the next song but still no sound. Can disconnect the Bluetooth and then reconnect but still no sound. The radio will play. The songs are moving in time but no noise.
This is irritating me somewhat. Have anyone experienced this? Is there a quick fix please?
Thanks

Same experience - radio works - but not bluetooth connection. Stop car - switch off wait a bit and turn on.

change the source to radio and then back to the bluetooth,
im assuming the volume decrease button isnt being depressed on your phone because of how it is being placed

My workarounds:
1) Change source - go to radio, wait until sound, switch back to BT. Normally works.
2) Change output on phone - go from car to phone speaker, and then back. Normally works.

Have you checked to make certain that you have not accidentally muted sound via the control wheel on the left hand side of the steering wheel?

If you already have an Apple account then it takes 2 mins to set it up in your car and saves faffing around with BT / cables...just sayin'

True, however it takes a long time from PCM power-on to establish a data connection and start-up Apple Music, and if you have no data connection due to underground parking for example, you may never have Apple Music for that particular drive. Apple Music over Bluetooth [usually] just works, and works faster.
