Door dings removal using Porsche protection plan ?

Anyone used Porsche protection plan to remove a door ding ?

my car is at the Porsche approved body shop for the undercarriage work, and I happened to notice and file a secondary claim for my first door ding.
When I called to give the body shop the claim info he noted that it is a much bigger job as they have to take door apart including the handle. They are “discussing” with Porsche Protection Plan as the $100 isn’t near enough.

curious if anyone else has experience like this or with using the service

Anything Porsche sell is bound to be more expensive than alternative providers.

I am surprised that they would only cover $100. This would only apply to the very simplest of door dings. Seems strange.
