Had a terrible experience at the Halton Hills(Toronto Premium Outlet). SOC when I arrived in my 2021 4S, was 8%. Upon arrival, 2 of the 4 chargers were UNAVAILABLE. Luckily someone left and I moved over and plugged in. Wow, a 150kw charger only putting out 45kw. Lame. I called the Customer Service line and after many apologies from the Person on the line, he said it is likely my car that is the reason. Understanding I had successful charges in Tilbury (125kw output, SOC on arrival 12%), and again in London, similar SOC on arrival, and this charger was putting out around 100kw. So suggesting it was my car, was inappropriate. Lengthy conversation with Electrify Canada this morning. Still, the 2 non-functioning chargers were still not functioning. My point to them. WHY, do they not monitor the very few stations in Ontario, to see the status of their chargers???? We should not ( as was suggested) as customers need to call for charger issues. Why do they not have contracted Electricians available 24/7??? When we EV folk pull into a Charging Facility, WE NEED A CHARGE. We have no other options. I realize I get free charges until April 2023, but if this is what I will experience, Bye Bye Electrify Canada. Also as has been suggested on other posts, the Porsche Route Planner should show options other the just Electrify Canada or Electrify America( albeit my trip to Florida and back charging at Electrify America was generally good aside from many chargers not putting out good Kw, and yes The battery was pre conditioned). Sorry for the length of this message, but we need to have faith in Charging facilities and companies. We have no options we our SOC is low

Understand your frustration, Steve.
In early October we took a trip from the west coast of BC to Edmonton and back. No charging issues using BC Hydro and Flo(they were 50kw). We used Electrify Canada where available; all the 350kw were unserviceable, and many times the 150kw delivered around 90kw or less. During our travels in BC, EC made the charges complimentary to all users(not just Porsche) due to the less than optimal charging.
But it wasn’t just the EC issue, we noticed many Petro-Canada HS chargers not working either. So with our trip (highly recommend the Icefields Parkway btw) we made the habit of making short charging stops (pee breaks) where it was available..just to hedge our bets and avoid disappointment ..not convenient or optimal perhaps, but it was our first real road trip.

Ditto. Also had to trick the Porsche Route manager by putting in a Destination a little farther than where I actually wanted to go, otherwise I would arrive with a very low SOC. I haven’t heard back from Electrify Canada. Guess I/ EV drivers need to experiment. Luckily I do 99% of my charging in my garage. This journey to Florida and back was an expedition to see the pratfalls. I learned a lot. Good luck
