Favorites list not loading

After being on the forums here for almost four years I can't believe I haven't asked this question here earlier, but here goes:

• 2023 4S CT
• My wife and I both drive the car regularly. Each of us has an iPhone that connects to CarPlay wirelessly, and both of us use CarPlay frequently. Every once in a while we are both in the car at the same time, two keys, two iPhones, but that doesn't happen often.
• We carefully curate our Favorites list, usually with satellite stations but sometimes regular FM.
• Frequently, the PCM gets into a state where we get a spinner loading the Favorites list. It never loads and the only fix is the engineering menu reboot. It doesn't take long for this problem to occur -- perhaps 2-4 days on average. And I'm fairly certain that the problem will surface even if only one of us has been driving the car during this period.
• We've tried all the obvious things (deleted phones, re-added them), experiments with disconnecting CarPlay before turning the car off, etc. To no avail.

We've had this problem ever since getting the car three years ago, and it's literally the only real annoyance we've had with it... but it drives us absolutely crazy. If anyone has encountered this problem and has a workaround I would be deeply grateful.
