Being in my 3rd day of ownership, I'm starting to agree with some of the comments on here about the 'not quite ready' tech in this car. But I didnt expect to need to disable features because they arent working properly.

Lane keeping assistant ... Its like my old driving instructor. It keeps asking me to put my hands on the wheel. But they are. Why can't it recognise that I am holding the wheel? We have a VW Arteon in the household with the same feature and that never tells you to put your hands on the wheel, unless you take them off the wheel. I had to turn it off!

Active speed limiter - I think this one is dangerous. Driving along happily at 70mph with a limiter set at 80mph. Then all of a sudden the car starts to brake (quite hard). Throttle doesn't respond and we drop to 50mph. What happened? It mis-read a speed sign. I push the limiter back up to 80mph. 30 seconds later it happened again. And again. Maybe this is a UK thing, but it misreads temporary road-works signs (especially the 60mph ones on the way to Silverston circuit). With active speed limiter, enabled other drivers must think I am drunk at the wheel. I now realise that kickdown will bypass this. But it isn't clever.

I haven't decided whether I like Range mode yet. SImilar issue. Driving along at 80mph. Limiter set at 85mph. Car brakes and drops to 50mph with no warning. I couldn't work out what the hell was going on. Maybe I should have read the manual first .

I would be terrified to use Innodrive if this is anything to go by :) :) :)
