FOD - Active Lane Keeping not activating

So this Saturday (Nov 30th 2024) having nothing better to do I purchased the Active Lane Keeping over FOD. Since then it's stuck in Activation in Progress. Contacted them on Sunday and the guy on the phone said it has to be manually activated which was laughable and I should wait until Monday. Of course nothing happened on Monday so I called again and opened a ticket with them. Still nothing back and they are waiting for the "Technical department" to reply to their internal ticket.

Anyone else having issues with that? I rebooted the PCM with the two fingers salute but obvously it didn't help. I haven't got the message in the car. And before anyone asks, yes, privacy mode is OFF, there is LTE in both my garages and I drive the car daily for more than an hour in total.

FOD isn't a thing these days and suspect a dealer visit is necessary.

FOD is definitely a thing still for the first generation cars. I activated ALK on my 2023 car only a couple of months ago. I also had the same issue as the OP though. It took about 4 weeks for Porsche Europe to sort it out with a few reimender emails from me.

Glad they figured it out. I’m close to pulling the trigger on it as well. Was hoping for some holiday deals but no joy.

Disabled the Lane Keep Assist and it now works great. Follows the middle of the lane without trying to kill you when you change lanes without a blinker!

Lol, 14 hours after it fixed itself I got this mail

After havering for a while and comparing loan cars with Power Steering Plus, I added it to my car using FOD in October. The update worked 1st time.
I recall seeing something about FOD not currently being available on gen 2 cars.
I have it on my Cayenne but my wife was against putting on the Taycan. So far she hasn’t noticed. Or has she?!

Shame comfort access is so expensive - £1190 for a software update! They’d sell more if it was cheaper.

Same issue, bought ALK 4 days ago, but still nothing on the car. Called Porsche this morning and they said "this can happen sometimes, I will create a ticket for it".
