Here’s a strange one. In the UK MY21 didn’t come with Power Steering Plus - at least the RWD model didn’t.

After reading a few good reports on here I decided I would buy it as a Function on Demand Over The Air upgrade. However, after it said it was activated I couldn’t find any difference whatsoever - it felt exactly the same as before.

Now, here’s the fun bit…!

I took it into the local OPC to check this out (it was in for a dodgy PCM) and they have told me that Power Steering Plus was already activated for my car at the factory - that’s why I couldn’t tell any difference!

I hadn’t paid for it and I hadn’t ordered anything like rear wheel Steering in order that it would be specified. They said that their sheet of “q” codes show that it was definitely activated and that I should contact Customer Services for a refund.
Has anyone else come across this?

It does doesn’t it? Hopefully I’ll get a refund without them deactivating it!
I just ordered the RWD and downloaded the complete spec sheet. Power Steering Plus is listed as a Standard Feature.

Always been standard in the US, but not in the UK.
