I'm having problems with my GivEnergy EV charger for overnight scheduled charging.
I've set the schedule on the car to charge between 1230-0430 in line with my off peak rate, and also the timer to charge the vehicle to 80% and to be ready for 0430.
No schedule has been set on the EV charger and left on 'Plug and go'.
Looking at the history on the GivEnergy app the charge starts but only takes 1kwh then stops. I wake up to find the vehicle not charged and on the same percentage as the night before.
Has anybody else got this charger and had similar issues/success with overnight scheduled charging?
GivEnergy are investigating and have reset the charger and changed status to standalone (I have no solar or invertor) but it's displaying the same issues night after night.
Could there be an issue with the on board charger as the EV charger is simply an electric supply (and not really a 'charger')?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
