GTS ST ordered V200

Hi all,

Finally, my dealer got an allocation for GTS ST and I'm now $5g short. Here is the build.

The bigger question is... do I trade my absolutely fine 992 C2S for it? I have till Oct to cancel my order.

Which dealer is it? Gives me hope if allocations are starting to trickle in for the GTS ST in the US

Porsche North Houston. They said the next allocation for GTS ST will be 2024.

I told my dealer that I want to order a GTS ST the night it was revealed and I'm the first on their list. Then I put down the deposit 2 days ago when they got their first allocation.

Yikes, so about 8 months just to get an allocation. I did the same, but my dealer happened to have a GTS ST allocation that was able to get a PTS slot too. It feels so weird to me for the first time having a car that I could use the word 'rare' to describe it and not be an exaggeration.

I have about 1 month to consider PTS and I really want to do Rubystar (I saw a 992 Turbo S in Rubystar driving next to me and I was blown away) but $11k is just too hard to swallow and a ppf can be done with any color........ decision decision.

I bought my 992 C2S while waiting for GTS ST so I've been patiently waiting. But yea, it's really crazy to wait that long for only an allocation.

I ordered a CT4 in October '21 and got it in Jan '22. The GTS ST was announced after my order was locked and in-production. Sadly, I couldn't switch. I am now in the market to get an GTS ST (I should have just placed my order right then), and put down a $2500 deposit yesterday. My SA says they should have an allocation "soon". The dealer and my SA are great though, so I will stick out. I think they're a top dealer by volume too, so hopefully that works in their favor.

Pretty much don't change a thing on your build but consider:

1: Dashcam pre-wire (free)
2. Race-tex B-Pillar (hides the plastic
3. Personally not a fine of the Bordeaux red (too bright for me)

I'd keep the 992 also!
