Four year warranty on my 2022 Taycan is about to be over. I did purchase extended warranty, but I have been running into these intermittent errors. (see video and pictures).

I did have the wiring harness recall approximately 9 to 10 months ago. This error started occurring about three months ago. I took it to the shop once and the dealership stated that these were just error codes. They cleared them and I did not have them back until maybe about 2 to 3 weeks ago. There is no rhyme or reason why it happens, but the errors appears for a few days and then disappear again.

not sure if this is because of an incorrect wiring harness installation, or whether I coded my headlights to the European spec (I’m located in the US)

The temporary one might be caused by dirt on sensors, or some weird race condition, or sensors being blinded during init or something like that. In last 3 years I've seen something like this happen 3 or 4 times, got a bunch of assist unavailable errors, but they always cleared when I shut the car off and back on, one time they even cleared while driving (didn't have any good place to pull over to power cycle the car, so kept on driving, all functionality came back online by itself).

You said you coded the headlights to Euro spec, whatever tool you used (probably PIWIS), scan the car and see which ECU is throwing what errors. Alternatively OBDeleven can scan for error codes, or the CarScanner, or tCAN software. When you coded the headlights, was this because you wanted the matrix functionality enabled? If so, did it work? Note that there are more ECU's that need to be recoded for it to work properly. Which EU country spec did you use?

Thank you for the reply.

I definitely get the temp errors on foggy mornings or high humidity days (from likely condensation) but those usually clear out in a few minutes once the sun comes out.

These are different. They persist after overnight shutdown and 2 finger reboot. I used one of the forum members for remote coding. He used a German version (as far as I can recall). I can probably get a scanner OBD and check out the error codes.

and yes. It was to enable matrix headlights. They still work (when I don’t get these errors). Whatever is causing these errors seem to be taking a lot of systems offline (headlight, parking sensor, ACC radar, auto recuperation, etc). I surmise it may be bad code or wiring.
