Had the car a month now and can get the car charged with the home charger at off peak rate....so all good.

However, I have now identified an issue which I can repeat (most of the time) and wondering if anyone can shed any light on it.

If I try charging firstly on the RH (AC only) port. I often get the red error light and the evse flashes blue - which means awaiting instructions.

If I switch to the other (LH) side, it charges normally (green light or blue flashing if on timer. Evse flashes yellow). And this is fine. It works.

BUT... if I then go back to the other side and plug it back in, then that also works fine (no error light)?
And charges fine (green or blue flashing light).

Any thoughts?

What happens if you try to initiate the very first charge on the LH side?

Update.....

The problem was - if I reversed in and charged on the right side, the cable was stretched and it didn't lock in properly and triggered the error light.
As soon as I pushed it into the cars charger socket firmly, I could feel it lock in, and all was good.

When I went in forward (pic) there was plenty of slack in the cable and it wasn't an issue.

I only thought about it when I read on here about people having to push the charger in tight (at some DC chargers with short leads) to avoid the red charging error.

Hope this may be of use to someone searching in future. ?
