How do you delete a phone from Bluetooth memory?

I am pretty good with tech. I’m the guy friends and family come to when they are stuck. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to delete a saved device on this car. It’s truly mind boggling how un-intuitive the menus are in this car.

Swipe the device entry to the left (or maybe right) and it will show a red delete button.

This is also how you delete garage doors from the door opener menu (it took me 5 minutes to figure it out..) and in general entries from a list view.
