How many amps does the Taycan draw in Launch Control and say cruising on the highway at 70 mph?

A calculation says if overboost power is 560 kW then the amps are 700 (Watt's law P = IV). Tesla appears to use around 1500 amps at full power. Given that Taycan voltage is twice that of Tesla (800 vs 400) that looks like it makes sense. (Note the actual voltages for the Taycan and Tesla are not 800 and 400v,, just somewhat close to those).

Does this look right or am I missing something?

Why do you ask?
Just curious.

I was familiar with the Jalopnik article. Mostly the output is always quoted in Watts but the issue is that heat is generated by current so I wanted to confirm that the simple calculation for current works for this case. I can think of no reason why it doesn't. Now 700 amps is a lot of current but only for a very short time. It also doesn't take long for it to heat up a wire and if you have repeated current flows, the wire gets hotter and and the resistance of the wire rises further. Pretty impressive that you can get repeated launches, so there must be some pretty big heat removal along with an overbuilt system. And this doesn't even include the heat generated from the inverter and motors.

Also there was an interesting video from Weber U where they shorted the battery of a Chevy Bolt to the chassis to see what kind of current would be generated. I would assume if they had done the test under full acceleration the measured current would have been much higher.
