When I ordered my GTS ST, my sales advisor told me that the allocation was only for the ST bodystyle and could not be changed to the sedan. Thankfully that is what I wanted anyway but he initially thought I was looking for a sedan before I clarified. I do not know if the bodystyles were merged like the other trims in the interim though.

My allocation was assigning me a dealer ordered car for their stock and then modifying the order to what I wanted. (So not a v70 demand order that converted to a V200 allocation, but rather a V200 allocation in the system that was assigned already to the dealer and reassigned to me)
I am not 100% up to which point the sedan/CT allocations are reconfigurable, but I was told by one dealer they have to commit to sedan or CT some time before the freeze date. At the time I found a Turbo S allocation and the dealer told me it was still reconfigurable as sedan or CT. I eventually found a Turbo allocation in V200 status which I took and reconfigured to what I wanted, that one was already locked to be CT (which is what I wanted).

Errr, wut?

You think Porsche sells 5-7,000 GTS ST’s in the US in a given year?

Doing the math, Porsche sells about 10k Taycans in the US per year, across ten model variants. Even if the GTS ST was an even pro rata share (which we know it’s not given how few wagons sell in the US), that would be 1,000 cars across 200 dealerships, or five cars a year per dealership on average.
Not sure how you got from 2 - 3 cars / month to 5000 - 7000 cars / year!?

I think my maths at least is sound.
