This is a workaround that might be useful to people missing this option. Most EVs use coasting to replenish batteries but the Taycan is different (and brilliant imo). However, if you really need this feeling of someone pressing the brake for you, turn the active cruise control option, set it to 30kmph and then accelerate. Whenever you take your foot off the pedal the car will start to slow down as long as there's no other car in front of you (it will break harder if so). I have no confirmation from Porsche but the overall feeling is almost identical to that of any other EV coasting. Plus the break lights turn on which suggests the regen is engaged. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
