I own a RWD taycan, it has been upgraded to the colored PCM. I want to have the Regen Auto set all the time, which means when I power up the car, it has Regen Auto set. I learned in the new PCM(colored version), it is able to memory the setting of Regen, but I tried couple times, it always get unset when I power off and power on the car again, who can give me some hint how to memory the regen setting? thanks a lot.

It only remembers your setting when switching drive modes, not after power off.

It also might be because the official consumption tests are based on how it starts by default.

mine does NOT remember regen settings after drive mode is changed (and, yes, it has had the ANA6 update)....model year 2021 an issue? US location an issue? something else? Quien sabe?

This has been discussed in several other threads on this forum. One reason the recuperation setting reverts to default at each car power on is that is necessary for the U.S. energy economy rating test. Others have posted the regulation that says the test must be performed with the default settings of the vehicle.

I own other EV brand and recuperation memory stays all the time, this is not regulated, is just Porche lame software.
