I think I've got a problem with my brakes, the dealer doesn't. Help please!

Are my brakes working the same as your Taycan?

Hi. Battery 80% or lower, makes no difference I’m afraid.

Will think about writing to HQ, but as I’m using a PRG dealer, I’m not sure it will make much difference.

They did get a fairly special response to the Porsche service satisfaction survey I got afterwards. According to a dealer principal chum at a different high end brand, they do take those very seriously as it goes to manufacturer too. Will see I guess.

ok so I went for a drive yesterday and (I assume the only way of determining if it's working or not is to see if the powermeter goes to the left when braking?) I noticed it was random whether it did the regen on pressing the brake. like during a 15min drive i must of braked a few dozen times with and least half of those times it showed any powermeter activity.
granted my battery was about 85% at the time.
but I must say I didn't feel any difference in the pedal when braking and it using the actual brakes or using the regen braking. fwiw I have PCCB on mine.

My brakes got messed up in a different way recently. There is a hissing friction sound at low speeds (around 5mph) and towards the very end of braking (when getting close to 0mph)

First check by dealership said nothing wrong. But there is no way the noise is normal. Will be scheduling another appointment.

Anyone gets that issue?
I have a similar sound occurring at slow speeds and mostly after initial drive off, it sound like it sounds like sticking brakes with rusty brake discs, loud rubbing noise

After recall for brake hoses and other brakes issues my CT4 has never been good anymore at braking. To the point my old 1990 Volvo feel more responsive and powerful at stopping the car 🤣.
Had the car so many times in and the dealer couldn’t find anything wrong despite the porsche assist came out and in his opinion his transit van brakes better than my CT (8 k miles on the clock always garaged).
Lost faith in the Taycan and for 6 months I didn’t really drive it much.
At some point one of the assistants at the dealer told me they have so many problems with Taycan Jen 1.1 brakes… to the point they don’t really know what to do… it seems Jen 1.2 is not affected and had a test drive with the gen 1.2 and compared to my CT it was as you would expect from any modern porsche and not junk like my CT brakes.
At the end my brakes were so bad I ended up with a new Jen 1.2.
So far braking is finally a pleasure not a constant “what’s gonna happen next”.
However I am always in alert status.
