Looking like I'm about to become an Admiral customer. I've got the online quote sorted out and it's acceptable all things being considered. I was wondering if anyone had any success beating them down a bit via the phone?
Ta.
Yes. Depends on circumstances but they will negotiate. Last time not enough though ?

That worked a treat. Negotiated it higher by 80 quid!! FFS.
.…not sure what’s going on with them. They were always competitive for me for very many years and then last November they banged up the renewal premium by 180%. Left to go with esure. A more palatable 40% uplift.

A completely mad market out there.

To be honest, the extra £80 was to add NCD. They were prepared to drop it by £300 if i rolled my other cars insurance into a multi car policy. However they wanted £4k more than my current insurer for my Range Rover, so I passed!

For reference:

Just over £2k.
