Interior lighting seems quite dim

Hi,

I'm new '21 Taycan RWD owner and I'm new to Porsche.

The interior lighting seems quite dim at night. I do not have the ambient lighting in my car. I have set the interior lighting to 100%. It seems that without any dome light, there is not much light.

Is this "normal" for a Porsche?

Welcome and hope you are enjoying your new toy, I mean car!

I am not sure, without the dome light, and without ambient lighting where would the light come from? Are there any foot lights or lights in the door panel storage areas in your car?

Standard LED lighting in all cars before adding ambient. Doors, foot wells, roof console etc. (Check std spec sheet for what to expect and check that all your LEDs are functioning).

LED interior lighting concept: Switch-off delay, front interior lighting with reading spot lights, reading lights in rear left and right, footwell illumination front and rear, luggage compartment lights front and rear, glove compartment light

Looks fine to me and I don’t have mine set to 100%. Too bright is a distraction.

I took some while in my driveway the other night. My lighting is set to 50% and there were some lights on outside my house. The pictures look a bit brighter than it seemed.
