I've asked at my local dealer for a GTS ST order and they quoted a $20K markup for a car arriving by end of the year. Similarly, I've seen a bunch of people on this forum saying they were able to nab an allocation for the first half of this year for a sedan, but CT allocations seem harder to come by (I was quoted a 12 month wait when I added myself to a waitlist, but am at sticker). A few posts have showed up here about available allocations but they all seem to be sedan.

So... just wondering if waiting a long time/paying a markup is to be expected for CT/ST. Tempted to switch my CT wait list for GTS ST but wanted to get a sense for how common the markup is.

Hard question to anwser. I have a 22 CT4 pending delivery next month at MSRP but then again I got my allocation last July 2021. Much harder to do now and for a GTS ST more likely to have either a long wait and/or a markup or both from those who just take what their local dealer offers. Some have gotten lucky but its a search to find where the "deals" so to speak are. Given the lack of allocations and supply out there those deals may be subjective and not that many but they are out there. However for 2022 and early/mid 2023 I've heard this will be the current situation for anyone looking for a popular model of any new vehicle no matter what the brand not just Porsche. GL
