“The Turbo GT is limited by the battery from 100% SoC. Tuned Turbo S is limited from around 65% and the rest only start getting slower around 30%. Depends on temperature of course.”

can you please explain me what do you mean with that? That power goes down as battery goes down?

Of course it does, and the J1.2 Turbo GT is like the J1.1 Turbo S. Unlimited in launch control from factory, only limited by what the battery can put out.

Official figure is 1033 PS, real power is 1170 PS at 100% SoC. Just like the J1.1 Turbo S official was 761, but the real power was 800 PS at 100% SoC.

We could do a battery discharge to output power graph if @Mr.Smith is up for it.

So the 4, 4s, Gts and turbo are delivering the most consistent power? It drops when SoC is lower than 30% ?
Yeah somewhere around there.
The Turbo S launches much better though because front motor puts out 140hp more.

My J1.2 has entered production, and I'll be able to get some data on the J1.2 battery. The hard part is keeping it at the right temp in winter where the temperature doesn't additionally throttle it, but anything below 940 PS output I'll be able to graph.
Could also do it on the dyno I guess.

With a Turbo GT it's better because you can start from 100%.

Thanks for you replies!! It seems that the 4 - 4s are the most value for money choices!

do you know if there are any differences between the models in steering and active ride configuration?

I'll install after I get my car back before the weekend.
I'll email you so we can start getting some data

You can only get the active ride on the Cross Turismo 4. It is not possible to get it on the Taycan 4 sedan.
So if you want a sedan you should probably get a 4S Black Edition (unless you want to have very few options on it). It's just much cheaper to get a 4S Black Edition than to tick all the included stuff on a normal 4S.

I doubt there's any differences, at least until you get to the Turbo S and Turbo GT.

It’s probably just trying to be like a 911 Turbo 🤣
