Latest pcn with colour icons

Maybe answered elsewhere but the new pcn with coloured icons is it a new system or can the last version be upgraded to this ?

No one knows for sure.
The PCM module doesn't seem to have changed between late 2021 and 2022, so it seems as though the colored icons are a software change.
But until an updated PCM application is installed on an older model, no one knows for sure.

I have the 22kw update next week and told they can also update the pcn to new style

PCM update (for coloured icons etc) is highly likely for MY22 cars and there is a campaign for rolling out the updates in various countries just now. Sounds like you've lucked in too and will get it next week as mentioned.

Vagueness surrounds older model years (MY20 / MY21) and potential certain early builds of MY22 due to potential hardware dependencies (not visible) - lack of information from Porsche has been as expected and so we've all been guessing at 'if' and 'when'.

My 22kw update is booked in for 22nd July. I was told they would update the PCM at the same time to the latest version with coloured icons. Hopefully the PCM update will improve the random issues I have (e.g. lost phone connection, lost Android Auto). I’m MY22.
